  • New, 20+ bed Emergency Department –anticipated opening in 2010
  • 25,000+ patient visits per year to Emergency Department

  • Hospitalist available 24/7 for unassigned-patient admissions and Emergency Department consultations
  • Clinically strong Physician Assistants and Nurse Practitioners

  • 'Customer-Service' oriented Radiology Department
    • Helical CT and US 24/7
    • MRI M-F; Reasonable 'Off-hours' emergency-use in conjunction w/ Attending Radiologist
  • Emergency Department MDs can write Holding/Temporary Admit Orders to facilitate flow
  • Emergency Department Ultrasound and credentialing process available
  • Frequent Procedural Sedation including Ketamine, Propofol by Emergency Department MDs
