Lynn Meadows
PA/Midwife
Lynn has been working with Pacific Redwood Medical Group as an Emergency Physician Assistant since 1990.
Her work as a midwife is winding down to a rarity these days. Prior to the Emergency Department, she specialized in Orthopedics for three years and worked at the Tarahumara Indian Hospital in Creel, Mexico for one year.
Lynn, and her husband, Bob, moved to Greenfield Ranch, an intentional community, in Mendocino County in 1972. They are original "Back-to-the-Landers," off the grid for more than 30 years. They have three children and two grandchildren. Bob is a contractor, the mellow person in her marriage.
Her calling in life is service. Lynn's biggest projects now are 1) Hearthstone Village/Tu Hogar, a clinic orphanage started by Lynn in Mexico; 2) United Peace Relief, disaster relief, and 3) Butler Cherry Ranch Project, a community cherry orchard.
Lynn has a home at the Sea of Cortez. She lives in Mexico part of the year and is fluent in Spanish.
