Wanbli Franklin, MD, FACEPDr. Franklin is a board-certified Emergency Physician who joined Pacific Redwood Medical Group in 1999. He has provided clinical care and medical education with international relief groups in Africa, Asia, and the Middle East. He served as a Senior Emergency Medicine Consultant for King Abdullah of Saudi Arabia. He is also a Medical Expert Reviewer for the California Medical Board. A member of several American medical associations, he was elected Fellow of the American College of Emergency Physicians in 2003. In addition to reading, scuba and playing with his puppy, Kola, his favorite backpacking sites include the Bridger-Teton, Sierras, and Laotian Highlands.
