Chris Otto
Group Administrator
Chris worked a short time after graduation with troubled teenagers, but then migrated into finance and accounting. She has worked for many years in the business world doing financial, personnel and policy management. She took a seven year break to stay at home with babies and pre-schoolers, but once the children were in school, she went back to work on a part-time basis.
In 1996 she became the Controller of local nonprofit agency and oversaw all aspects of managing many and various state and federal grants. She managed the Fiscal, Personnel and Information staff of that agency until 2003 when PRMG invited her to come to work as their Group Administrator.
She is convinced that her best preparation for her work was her degree in Child Development. She thoroughly enjoys this close-knit medical group she works for.
Chris grew up in Santa Cruz, California but has made Ukiah her home for over 22 years. Chris is married to Joe Otto who also works for PRMG. They have a comfortable home on three acres just outside of town where she is in constant battle with the wildlife (deer, turkeys, rabbits, skunks and gophers) that insist on dining on her flowers and shrubs. She spends too much time thinking up ways to keep the critters out of their yard.
Chris enjoys their winemaking activities and participates in all aspects (like making sure all the earwigs and spiders are removed from the crushed grapes).
Chris is an active member of the Board of Community Care Management Corporation where she worked for many years. CCMC's mission is to keep their frail and elderly clients safely in their own homes and thereby delay or avoid nursing home placement.
